The University of Mississippi

Welcome

We invite you to look around and get a feel for our organization. Feel free to share any comments, memories and concerns that may come to mind as you browse our website.

It began as the Black Student Union Choir in 1974. Today, it has emerged as the University of Mississippi Gospel Choir and, more importantly, the first college gospel choir to sign with a major gospel record label. This student run organization has faithful sung the Lord's praises for the last 40 years. Generations of African American students have found fellowship, support, and inspiration as they have strived for musical and academic excellence at the University of Mississippi

Blessings,

Justavian Tillman, President
